Lateral Interviewing vs 2L Interviewing

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Jan 08, 2017 11:25 pm

I wasn't a great OCI interviewer, and hoping to up my game for lateral interviews. In retrospect, I didn't have a goal beyond trying to be nice and liked, which came across as desperate. I'm also modest, which may have come off as insecure.

1.) What things are you trying to convey beyond competency?
2.) What one characteristic are you trying to show?
3.) How is the approach different than OCI?
4.) What is the interviewer looking for?
5.) What are examples of good answers the "why are you leaving ...." question?
