Quick background info: Attend top 20 school, prestigious UG, from SoCal originally, want to work in big law.
Received two job offers this week and need advice on which one you be best to pick if I want to work in big law in LA/OC area.
1) Extern at US Attorney's Office in Orange County, CA
2) Judicial internship for CA COA justice in OC as well.

For biglaw, AUSA for sure. Federal court experience > state court experience.

I agree that AUSA is preferable, particularly in the competitive market where you want to work.
