Article before "general counsel"
Trying to create an email signature for my new position and was wondering if there should be an article in "Office of the/(no article) General Counsel". I checked the signatures/business cards of other folks in my organization as well as googling other organizations, and it looks like there is no consensus. Out of curiosity, is there a grammatically correct way to put this or is it one of those preference things?
