It will be mostly silence. You might get a holiday gift and you might be asked to go to a 1L firm mixer if your firm goes to your school in the winter.

Coming up on 2L fall exams and alresdy have summer associate position lined up. How stressed/ much do these grades matter if an individual already has a gig for next summer?

It's worth putting in effort, but not worth stressing.Anonymous User wrote:Coming up on 2L fall exams and alresdy have summer associate position lined up. How stressed/ much do these grades matter if an individual already has a gig for next summer?

Worth the extra effort IMO. Grades probably won't matter much/at all, but the better you do 2L, the more you can slack 3L.gaddockteeg wrote:It's worth putting in effort, but not worth stressing.Anonymous User wrote:Coming up on 2L fall exams and alresdy have summer associate position lined up. Any idea on what kind of impact 2L/3L/overall grades have on lateraling or going in-house?RaceJudicata wrote:Worth the extra effort IMO. Also, could I reach out to my firm to ask if I can start before the official start date? Is there a polite way to ask this?
