But does the fact that I was initially an alternate come into play when the firm is deciding whom to give offers to post-SA? The firm I will be summering with does not have a 100% offer rate.

Frankly, I dont know. I don't come on here often but when I do many people post anonymously and say not to quote them. So I do the same. Why? I'm not sure - but if many people keep doing so there must be a reason.

People ask not to be quoted because they intend to delete their post at some point in the future, and they cannot edit posts that quoted them. Personally, I think those people are cowards. When historians research my life I want them to experience my full unadulterated genius.
