Here's my situation: recently finished summer associateship @ a V5, NY.
I like NY fine, but I'm from Ohio (Columbus) & would like to return there in 3-5 years after I burn out/get pushed out in BigLaw. I've been cautioned by OCS & some lawyer friends that some small(ish) markets aren't as thrilled with biglaw refugees, and are wary of potentially high cost.
A few questions. (1) Is this observation largely true?, (2) If so will my decent connections to Ohio help in avoiding this?
Thanks!
