Anyone have any insight into how they treat staff attorneys? Pay/culture/possibility of full time?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but a staff attorney at the JD office I summered at became an associate. I'm not familiar with his pay/circumstances or anything else prior to his transition though.

There is a great chance that you will doing the same work as a junior associate and paid a lot less.
