So I am a compliance officer at a nonprofit with traditional in house responsibilities as well. I asked both westlawnext and lexisadvance to give me an offer that includes the research i need plus templates for when i draft contracts, employment agreements, etc. I honestly loved westlaw and the keycite system all through lawschool and at the firm i was at. Lexis people insisted that i see their lexisadvance demonstration and I did like it, honestly (and i told them this) because it looks as if they tried as hard as possible without infringing copyright to copy westlawnext as much as possible. They gave a slightly better deal.
Any drawbacks? Which one do I go with?
