So, the title is pretty self-explanatory. Ive been tryibf to get an offer from this firm for a while, but there came a point when I realized i was probably knocked off. Now they just emailed me asking me if I am still interested in interviewing, just days after sending my acceptance letter to the summer I SA'ed. I have a number if issues with the firm I summered at, and am not eager to go back. Obviously, Id like to interview, but dunno what the ethical answer is here. This is all complicated by the fact that this is a callback not an offer.

I overlooked it. I saw the thread but wondered if there is a difference between an SA offer and an offer to return. My mistake.

This is a correct critique. When I say "dream firm" I mean a firm that will also chew me up and spit me out after a few years, but which I feel will likely be slightly more gental with the chewing, and will likely not spit me out too soon.

Follow uo question: my interview will be after the common oct 1 acceptance date that the nalp offers for returning to the firm. The firm I am interviewing with pixked the date, and so I am wondering what a reasonable thing to say would be, since I dont want to seem flaky to the firm interviewing me. My current thought is just to stress how much I wanted the interviewing firm to begin with.
