how to not piss off a small firm w/ exploding offer

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Sep 20, 2016 5:01 pm

have one offer from a small firm in a secondary market. pay is good for a small firm (e.g. not hourly), but less than biglaw.

have cb with biglaw firm who knows i have "offers". they said they can let me know after my cb that they can let me know their decision by next monday.

small firm made it seem like they want to know pretty soon about my decision b/c they'd have to look for other candidates and were pretty pushy to accept soon.

any insight on what to send to the small firm in order to "extend" their offer timeline?

Tell them you're still interviewing and will know by Monday.
