Hogan v. Milbank v. Kaye Scholer v. Stroock v. Winston (all NY)
I am interested in corporate or real estate work. I liked the people I met at Milbank, but they don't really do real estate which is somewhat of an issue for me.

you want to do real estate.
kaye scholer and stroock are the only firms on your list with actual real estate practices in NY. choose between the two i guess. stroock is still at 160k. go with with kaye. but i hear stroock has nice people so maybe that might be enough to weigh in its favor.

Stroock did go to 180k
I'm a former Stroock associate if you have any questions. I agree about the nice people.

Milbank very much has a real estate practice, but it's mostly (if not all) real estate finance/transactions.Anonymous User wrote:I liked the people I met at Milbank, but they don't really do real estate which is somewhat of an issue for me.
That being said, my firm deals with Strook regularly. I'd say they have a much broader RE practice group.
