Secondary Midwest Market Dings/Offers
Not seeing much reporting on offers/dings after callbacks for Milwaukee, Twin Cities, St. Louis, etc. Thought people could post results here.

Any movement with Milwaukee firms? Had CBs with Foley & Lardner and Godfrey & Kahn. Any idea how soon offers typically come out after CB?

Stinson offer (from Kansas City office) on Friday. 28 days to wait, so I don't wanna jump into it just yet.

I'm at one of the Wisconsin schools and haven't heard of any Godfrey offers yet. It sounds like they invite a lot of people for CBs relative to the number of 2L SAs they usually take. I've heard they are one of the firms that really does consider every CB candidate before making the bulk of their offers and their offers usually come late as a result.Anonymous User wrote:Any movement with Milwaukee firms? Can't speak to this year, but I know Foley has given next day offers in the past.

Had same day offers from both Foley and Godfrey, but accepted elsewhere. No intention of rubbing it in anyone's face, but offers seem to be out there.

There can be wide variation with Foley--I know of same/next-day offers, and I know of a gap of over a month between CB/offer. Earliest I'm aware of is mid-late August, latest I know of is late September.Anonymous User wrote:Any movement with Milwaukee firms? Had CBs with Foley & Lardner and Godfrey & Kahn. The other Milwaukee firms are uniformly slower and will still be doing CBs throughout September. I wouldn't be surprised if the offer process goes well into October.

Got an offer from Armstrong Teasdale for their St. Louis office. Had my CB exactly a week ago.
