how do we address questions about OCI during CBs with MM'd firms?

I have a CB with a firm I massmailed next week. I haven't necessarily struck out during OCI, but it seems like I am on the waitlist for a few firms that I had CBs with. How do I address questions about OCI with this upcoming firm? I've had firms ask me "so how did OCI go?" "where have you been interviewing?" etc. Obviously since I massmailed this upcoming firm they know I dont necessarily have an offer right now but how can I address this in a positive light given that I truly have not struck out yet?

Tell them OCI went well and who you interviewed with.

Because you didn't interview with them at OCI and you are interested in them. You don't need to lie. There are plenty of people with offers who continue to interview with firms that they didn't interview with at OCI. I know I did.
