Callback Protocol
If the firm is arranging for third-party ground transportation from the airport to the office, should I be tipping the driver? If so how much?

As much as you want, the firm doesn't give a shit. I ran up a 150 dollar bar tab with a buddy and the firm(s) never said a thing, covered it all.freshwaterorleans wrote:If the firm is arranging for third-party ground transportation from the airport to the office, should I be tipping the driver? Re: Callback Protocol
I have no idea how this stuff works. I emailed my reimbursement form and receipts to a firm. But how is the money reimbursed? They didn't ask for my bank account information or anything.

Yeah I was the most generous tipper I've ever been in my life during callbacks. Think of it as pro bono.

Serious question...
What's a reasonable (cost wise) way to get from lower Manhattan to Newark?

Re: Callback Protocol
you typically would not tip a black car/town car driver, though (OP said his/her firm was arranging for transportation, not just reimbursing for a cab, so sounded more like a black car to me). every one of those i've taken has included the tip in the price

Re: Callback Protocol
I generally tried to keep dinners under $50, but I lost track of one and ended up spending $60. That's probably okay, right?
