Has anyone gotten offers for Shook's KC Office? If so, what was the turnaround?

From my 1L experience, offers were made very quickly. From anecdotal evidence this year, they're behind most other firms in the area.

could you share a bit more of the anecdotal evidence you have? As long as you don't mention names I don't see any harm being done to anyone else. Also, what do you mean by behind? Are they sending out offers later than everyone else by a notable time frame?

From what I know from friends attending one of Shook's major feeder schools, other firms in KC and STL have given callbacks and offers at a much quicker rate than Shook. It's been behind the ball in even scheduling callbacks with some stellar candidates. Not sure why; that's about all I know.

So there have been offers already sent out. Does your friend know how many? I'm pretty sure Shook's class is usually around mid 20's for 2Ls, right?

I know of at least one offer that they extended which the person rejected. I don't know when the offer was extended other than that it was sometime before yesterday.

From my CB and the interviewers' bios, I'd guess UMKC, U of K, Mizzou for their KC office
