I am a 3rd year associate. I have 2 years experience at a midlaw firm and 1 year at a V100 firm. My first two years were split between tech trans and M&A and my last year was mostly in TMT (technology, media and telecom) AKA tech transactions. I can speak and read mandarin, but I can't write.
How difficult would it be for me to get a US or UK biglaw position in Singapore working in tech trans? I know that M&A is a lot easier to get but I really dont want to work in M&A anymore.
I noticed a couple of positions that state need to be barred in a "commonwealth jurisdiction." Does a us jurisdiction work?
