Should I Reach Out To Recruiting?

Had a CB about a month ago with a firm in a big market....I was originally told they hoped to get back to me within a week with a decision, but I haven't heard anything since. Should I reach out to demonstrate my continued interest? They know I interviewed with other firms in that market when I was there for my CB because I indicated that on my reimbursement form. If I don't reach out, would they assume I've accepted an offer and think I'm not interested anymore? [[I dont know how this stuff works!!]] Please let me know if I should reach out or not.

Happened to me once and when I called back they told me they had hired someone else instead. BUT, they also gave me a call 6 months down the road and told me they were still interested and had another position open. Like 1styearlateral said, it can't hurt to reach out.
