Is it difficult to lateral?

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Aug 23, 2016 6:04 pm

I struck out in my target market but landed an offer with a V50 somewhere else (they happen to have an office in my target market). I eventually want to end up in my target market and want to make sure I put myself in the right position to do so. ATM I will be doing corporate work.

If you want actually helpful advice, you could provide some details like target market, current market, school ranking, GPA, etc...

Otherwise, the answer is it depends.

A lot of variables but I'm not sure they really matter. I mean, you don't have a job in once place, and you have a job in another. What decision needs to be made? Take the job, work for a few years and see if you can lateral if your heart is set on it. Are you considering declining the job in the non-desired market?
