Entertainment law careers

Post by ManicKillian » Tue Aug 23, 2016 4:37 pm

Hey guys, I am a USC LLM student and I just started my first day this morning. I graduated from a law school in England (UEA) and earned my law degree this July. I chose the entertainment law certificate track in my LLM program because to be honest that's the only course I am interested in, and after some research I found USC is well good at it. I am a musician myself been in a metal band back to England for over 3 years. What are my chances to get a job or intern after LLM with an entertainment law certificate in hand? The USC also offers LLM-JD transfer program but they require a GPA 3.7 and they only accept like 2-4 people each semester so I'm not sure if I can make it. Or even I can make it should I really go for the JD, I want to stay in LA I like the music environment here but my I-20 is only one year, so I'm worried about my OPT application already.

Also if anyone are on the same boat or simply interested in me feel free to PM me we can add each other on Facebook or hang out a bit if you are in USC too. :D
