Legal Analyst positions

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Aug 21, 2016 4:52 pm

Anyone know what this entails and what kind of future opportunities there are?

The job description makes it sound like it's very similar to an entry level Associate General Counsel position, since you help with drafting contracts, research, etc.
However, the requirement for these positions is a Bachelors (though it seems to be JD advantage).

Can you move from legal analyst to an associate GC in the same company? What kind of positions would you be able to move to outside (can you move to a law firm, or lateral in-house as an associate GC)? Business side?
