Waiting to accept until last minute

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Aug 19, 2016 3:50 pm

I didn't have the best experience as an SA (big law) but still received an offer. I'm looking at other options. Currently trying my hand at management consulting, along with reaching out to other firms in my region. Some interviews are likely to take place in early September, and I won't have things finalized until the end of that month, which is when I need to accept the offer. I had a fairly large summer class. In the likely situation that nothing pans out and I need to accept the offer, will this be held against me somehow? I've heard that hiring partners are aware of when summers accept.
