Tell firms about offer after cancelling callback?
After cancelling a few callbacks, firms have emailed asking where I will be working next summer. Would they even notice if I just don't respond? Is there any harm to telling them the truth?

I can't imagine any downsides to responding. It's probably just a way to see who their recruiting competitors are.
