Cancelling an afternoon callback the night before...
If you are dead set on accepting another offer that you just received. Is this acceptable? I don't want to waste their time.

Yes, this is okay. Etiquette says you should probably cancel at least two days prior, but not doing so is still okay. On the other hand, it is rude to waste their time/take away CB slots that could've gone to others.

I'd cancel it. If you've made a decision, then you've made a decision.

cancel, or else you'll waste everyone's time. Attorney's time, HR's time, your time, and you'll be taking a CB away from someone who may want it badly.

Agree w/the above. Cancel the cb, save everyone's time. When I was going through the process I did the same thing.
