Hogan Lovells (NY) v. Jones Day (NY)
Anyone have any thoughts on choosing hogan lovells (NY) v. Jones Day (NY) for summer associate positions next summer? Interested in corporate transactional work. I like how hogan lovells (NY) is "supposedly" better in work/life balance. Also worried that hogan lovells NY is not the main office-as DC is the main office. Interested in Jones Day-but nervous about the blackbox compensation system-where since it's confidential a lot of people say salaries are less than market.

You're gonna want to go back in time and do better 1L and crack the V10

I think Hogan NY and Jones Day NY are probably the same. You're better off looking at who has better "bands" from Chambers.
