Kirkland Chicago 3L Hiring
Anyone have any updates on this? I know there was one anon on here who got an offer recently. Has anyone else gotten CBs or rejections? I'm wondering whether silence means I'm still in consideration or not? More interested in whether anyone has gotten some form of a ding, since I've just been waiting around for a few weeks now with no updates.

I interviewed with the NY office as a 3L within the past couple of years and had probably a month in between CB and offer.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone have any updates on this? A classmate who interviewed as a 3L got an offer about 2 weeks after his CB.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone have any updates on this? I know there was one anon on here who got an offer recently. Bump. Interested in this also. After how long of silence does it make sense to give up and assume its a ding?

It's posted on Kirkland's website. Check "apply online".

Did you screen or just apply? Phone screened last week for non-chicago office, haven't heard anything since. From on here it seems like some rejections have gone out since then, so not sure what to think. I know my school's 2Ls haven't even finished their screeners there thoughAnonymous User wrote:Bump. Re: Kirkland Chicago 3L Hiring
I just applied. They had a Symplicity posting up on my school's site and I sent in my materials through that. That was in mid-July. Haven't heard a single thing back (good or bad). Hoping to get some clarity on where they are at in the 3L process because I feel like the longer I hold off on accepting my offer from my 2L SA firm, the worse I look to them if I ultimately end up back there.Anonymous User wrote:Did you screen or just apply? Different anon here, but this is probably Houston. That's the only other Kirkland office looking for 3Ls based on their website.Anonymous User wrote:You mind sharing which non-chicago office this is?Anonymous User wrote:Did you screen or just apply? Would rather not say until I know whether they have accepted or rejected. I'll report back asap.

Not sure if you know this or willing to say, but do you know what that person's stats were?Anonymous User wrote:Would rather not say until I know whether they have accepted or rejected. I'll report back asap.

Re: Kirkland Chicago 3L Hiring
Also been waiting for a few weeks with no word on a screener, CB, or ding. Does anyone know how fast Kirkland usually moves on 3L hiring? Does not hearing anything after submitting an application = ding?

FWIW, I submitted an application through Symplicity and also directly e-mailed the recruiter. I got an email back a few days later asking what practice areas I was interested in. I told her a handful that they were hiring for. Haven't heard back yet.

Interesting...did your Symplicity application submission require a cover letter? Mine did and I included in the cover letter the specific practice area I'm interested in. Never got an email from recruiting to confirm a practice area preference though.Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, I submitted an application through Symplicity and also directly e-mailed the recruiter last week. Would you mind sharing the practice area the person was offered a spot for? I also know of someone who is a rising 3L and was interviewed in Chicago a few weeks back.
