3L OCI no offer 2l

Summered in DC, no offered in a typical big law 2l sa job. Am I screwed? What should I do? Slightly above median at MVP.

Given that you had the qualifications [MVP] to make it to a BL firm, you will bounce back. But yeah, for the moment feeling screwed pretty much covers it. How big was their summer group; was anyone else no offered; did this firm have a rep for 100% offers?

Large firm wide, small office. Yeah, previous 100%. Do people just lie about no offers?

Not sure what lie/story that would explain the time gap. Maybe others can think of a creative workaround. My guess is that you will have to deal with it.
