Callback to Offer timeline
Had a callback last Tuesday and the recruiter said the hiring committee meets on Friday. When should I start getting nervous?

Re: Callback to Offer timeline
You might be on the lukewarm list, as in if their top picks don't accept they'll extend but they're still interviewing. I had that happen with 2 firms (neither ended up extending me an offer unfortunately). This is especially true for a NY firm, they move very quickly.

Is this Cooley/WSGR/Fenwick/Gunderson?
I'm in the same boat with one of them.

It might not be looking too good then. I got my V10 offers either day of or a couple days afterwards. They seem to operate on the NY timeline.

Probably right...only hanging onto the fact they told the hiring committee meets on Friday and I'd hear back sometime next week.

Re: Callback to Offer timeline
Associate who helps out with recruiting in CA office. If we really like the candidate, we will email each other while the candidate is still interviewing and be prepared to make an offer the same day. If we just like you or are not sure, we wait to meet (once a week during OCI season) and make a decision then. In the latter case, decisions can take at least a week depending on when you had your callback. Once a decision is made, offer comes that day unless the hiring partner is tied up.
