3L OCI to switch firms - looking for advice

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Aug 07, 2016 7:26 pm

I am a rising 3L considering changing firms from the firm I just spent 2L summer at (and received an offer from). I want to stay in the same location and go to a firm with a stronger practice in an area I am interested in. I am not sure who to turn to and I would like any advice. Also, I think this would be a good place for people to share their current/past experiences. There is an old thread from a few years ago that shares results. http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... p?t=170585. It seems like it is much easier to get an offer if you already have one.

Thank you for any advice!

bump. also, suggestions on how to discuss with the firm you summered at (and received an offer from) that you're waiting to hear back on another firm?
