Screener lasting more than an hour
I had a screener at a big law firm with a partner. It was supposed to be a 20/30-minute interview but lasted more than an hour in the end because no hr came to knock the door. I felt quite bad of taking up one hour of a partner’s time… I'm not sure it was that we were having a great conversation, or s/he just didn't want to cut me up. Next time in such situation, should I politely ask whether s/he wants to leave when I feel that 30 minutes have past (obviously I can't look at the clock)?

The partner, as the interviewer, is in charge. Unless you have an appointment somewhere else (and it's important), let the partner dictate when the interview should end. It's not your job to worry about the partner's billables.
