MMing firms that didn't select me at OCI?
At a school where the OCI is a mix of preselect and lottery. Is it worthwhile to mass mail (or potentially contact in person during OCI week...I feel like that would be awkward though) firms I'm interested in that didn't select me for an interview and I didn't lottery into? Or would it just be a waste of time since the recruiting people who already rejected me through OCI would likely just ding me again? Thanks.

Well, the worst case scenario, as you said, is that they reject you again so...

Like 4-6. They're within my GPA range but I didn't get selected for whatever combo of reasons. I guess there's no real downside so it's worth doing.Toni V wrote:How many firms are you talking about??Anonymous User wrote:At a school where the OCI is a mix of preselect and lottery. I MM a good chunk of the firms that didn't select me. They added me to the schedule at OCI and later received a callback from them. Can't hurt; only help.

Yes I did. I indicated why I wanted to work there and asked that they give me an opportunity to interview, either at OCI or after.Anonymous User wrote:Did you mention in your emails that you didn't get an interview with them at OCI?MurdockLLP wrote:I MM a good chunk of the firms that didn't select me.
