How Long For Callback After OCI Screener? Forum

Hi,

Typically how long does a NY firm take to give a callback after an OCI screener? Considering some of my screeners were conducted on Friday, is it possible that these firms may wait until Monday to give callbacks?

Any help would be appreciated.

Wondering same thing. I think we should hear by tonight or tomorrow. If not, probably a ding.

Typically Thursday/Friday screeners hear back by Sunday/Monday. Not hearing by Tuesday is probably a ding and you may see a letter in the mail later in the week.

It depends on how many times the hiring committee meets a week, how long it takes for everyone to get their reviews in for recruiting to compile a record, when your screener is relative to your class, and sometimes stuff just takes a long time. I wouldn't worry until after maybe a week has passed. It's really not something you can control anyways.

Depends. NYC firms typically have a very short turnaround though. I got calls from some the evening of. In one instance I was offered a callback in the screener itself. Other firms took 1-2 days. Longer than that is almost certainly a ding.
