Thank you E-mail after Lateral Interview?

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Jul 31, 2016 1:14 pm

Have an interview on Tuesday that I'm really looking forward to. Saw something on Law360 about how thank you e-mails are beneficial. What is the TLS latest position on whether to do this? Seems contrived and meaningless to send a thank you email to over half a dozen people that you spoke with for like a half hour earlier that day. Does this actually help one's candidacy or is it neutral at best? Hearing from people that have actually interviewed laterals would be most helpful.
