Secondment Opportunity - Drug Test?
Can anyone who has done a secondment to a client advise whether you were subject to background check/drug test? Asking for a friend . . .

It's when someone who works for a biglaw firm gets loaned out to a client to work essentially in-house for them for some chunk of time (I know someone who did a secondment to Japan, don't know if it's usually abroad or not).kellyfrost wrote:What in the Christ is a secondment?

My former firm seconded quite a number of associates to nearby clients. I think overseas may be the exception not the norm.A. Currently on secondment and was not subject to a drug test. It will probably depend more on the company's process for bringing on independent contractors.
