Even worth mass mailing at lower t1 top 20%?
Sent about 20 resumes out to random firms. Haven't received a reply. My question is will any firm even consider my resume given that I'm from a lower ranked school only in top 20%? I feel like mass mailing is only beneficial to the elites in T-14 zone.
Tell me I'm wrong.

You're wrong. 20 is a good start but some people have sent out 100, 200, 300+ to only get a few screeners and even less CBs. But at the end of the day you only need 1 offer so keep hustling. Better than doing nothing.
Top 20% is decent for a T1 especially with LR/journal, etc.

You are so wrong.
I am Top 15% at a lower ranked T1, albeit one that out punches its rank, but I have sent out perhaps 35 MM and had 2 screeners already, with more MM and screeners planned for the future. It's pretty stupid to think that it only works for top students at top schools. You need to get your shit in front of as many people as possible, something I'm guilty of not doing enough, but it's really just a quantity game to get those first interviews.
Perhaps you need to work on your materials, or be patient if you haven't heard back, though.

Be flexible. Apply to the Big 4 Delaware firms.

Sent roughly 300 emails, got 1 screener, led to 1 callback, led to 1 offer. I went somewhere else for my own reasons, but you need a different mindset, it only takes one.

Im from a T30> school with median GPA. No LR. Nothing stellar other than a bunch of awards and scholarships. Sent about 70 MM so far. Landed 3 interviews at mid to large firms that led to 0 offers, but they do respond depending on how you package yourself.

I was from a lower T1 at median and sent roughly 250-300 mass mails. I ended up getting a few interviews out of it (and a summer job) - it sucks, but it's a volume game.
