Should I email the firm?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Jul 22, 2016 10:45 am

I had a CB for a 1L SA in my home market last spring, and did not receive an offer. I expressed interest in a 2L SA, and the firm asked me to provide them with an updated resume after my first year. I sent my updated resume in late June, along with my other materials for an application for a 2L SA. I have not heard a peep from the firm. My summer internship in a different market is now over and I will be returning to my home market for the next two weeks. Should I email the firm and let them know that I will be home, or will it come off as pushy to email them if they haven't responded? I included the fact that I would be home around this time in my application materials. I have mass mailed every other firm in my home market as well (it's a small market). Should I email them as well?
