Recent grad - when to give resume to connections

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Jul 17, 2016 7:17 pm

I recently graduated and am taking the bar next week.

I have a couple connections who have said they'll help me out by getting my foot in the door at their workplace. These include biglaw, government positions, and mid-sized firms.

I'm not sure if I should wait until my bar results to give them my resume or give it to them now.

Note: none of my connections are lawyers but rather, they know the hiring attorney at these places. They have assumed that I should give them a resume after passing the bar. Should I give them a resume now instead?
