Networking Event Etiquette
On Friday, I'm attending this buffet dinner sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association. There'll be over 100 lawyers from various firms and organizations at the event. How should I get a job offer without whoring myself out or appearing desperate?

Re: Networking Event Etiquette
If you go intending to get a job offer you will look desperate. Just go intending to meet people and find out about what they do. You can't predict how exactly connections like that will help in the future, but knowing more people and making more connections is always helpful.
