you could ask them what do finance lawyers really do on a daily basis and how is it different from corporate?

Ask which skills they look for in Finance Group hires - that could open doors for you to explain how you've gained or applied some of those skills (or have interest in learning those skills) based on your experiences in the corporate group and/or in the classroom.

Yeah I actually imagine much of what they mean by "fit" is "are you a freak" who we don't want to work with. The questions offered above are fine examples.
