Including Firm's Address in Cover Letter
Simple question, while mass mailing should I include the firms physical address in the header of my cover letter? Seems like a lot of extra work for useless information, as if the recruiting liaison doesn't know where she works.

It's part of formal business correspondence, so yes, you should.

I mean if you are mass mailing it should be like maybe 5 minutes extra work.

On the other hand I never once did and got about 5 offers, 12 CBs and many more screeners from mass mailing all throughout the vault ranges. I made my own letterhead type thing with my name and contact info on the top though--which I think was a nice touch.

What were your stats? I am in no way a remarkable candidate other than the fact that I have a distinguished full head of hair likely to remain for a while.

Haha they were pretty good I guess, definitely employable in most but not all firms with some luck. Fair enough. I just don't see the point of including physical addresses in emailed documents. But it probably can't hurt, so go for it. It will look professional.RobertGolddust wrote:On the other hand I never once did and got about 5 offers, 12 CBs and many more screeners from mass mailing all throughout the vault ranges.
