woah. do you have a list of who said what?
Arent Fox and Jones day said apply online.

Pryor Cashman, Seward & Kissel, Shearman & Sterling, Venable, and Cadwalader said to apply through OCI.

Still waiting from the other firms.
Interesting. Ive applied to a bunch of those firms and haven't heard anything back yet at all. Sent 45 apps out, only 3 or 4 responses saying "thanks we have your app"

For people who have heard back from firms about pre-EIW interviews, what have your MM e-mail --> response times been? Do you usually hear back in a couple days? A week?

Can someone post a successful MM here? Would be helpful to see what they should look like. I'm not sure if they should be firm specific (why Covington, for example), or basically "I'm interested in your firm. See resume."

Skadden, Paul Weiss, and Simpson Thacher each reached out to schedule a screener within a week or so. I am at a lower T14, top 10-15%.

Did you do a separate cover letter or just one in the body of the email? And how much did you tailor it to each firm? Thanks.

different anon, but I had stuff in both the email and a separate letter. Not a lot of tailoring. I did some mild networking with an associate at each of the firms I got.

For reference, both are V10 in major non NYC market. Top quarter at CCN.

T1 Anon from above. I think the firms are only interviewing top candidates at top schools. I know of some top 10%ers from my school who are getting interviews. But here I am in the cold :?

You didn't really answer the question. Was the ding after a screener or a CB?

How soon is it okay to send a follow up email after a CB for pre-oci CBs?

Brothers,

Is the usual protocol for MM that you won't hear back at all until (or unless) you are selected to interview? Sent a few MM this week and didn't even get a 'thank you for your application' or anything. Normal?
