Interesting. Ive applied to a bunch of those firms and haven't heard anything back yet at all. Sent 45 apps out, only 3 or 4 responses saying "thanks we have your app"Anonymous User wrote:Arent Fox and Jones day said apply online.Anonymous User wrote:woah. do you have a list of who said what?Anonymous User wrote:Submitted 43 Apps today. Mostly heard "Bid on us at OCI" or "Apply Online."
Pryor Cashman, Seward & Kissel, Shearman & Sterling, Venable, and Cadwalader said to apply through OCI.
Still waiting from the other firms.

For people who have heard back from firms about pre-EIW interviews, what have your MM e-mail --> response times been? Do you usually hear back in a couple days? A week?

Re: 2016 Pre-OCI Interviews
Can someone post a successful MM here? Would be helpful to see what they should look like. I'm not sure if they should be firm specific (why Covington, for example), or basically "I'm interested in your firm. See resume."

Skadden, Paul Weiss, and Simpson Thacher each reached out to schedule a screener within a week or so. I am at a lower T14, top 10-15%.Anonymous User wrote:For people who have heard back from firms about pre-EIW interviews, what have your MM e-mail --> response times been? Did you do a separate cover letter or just one in the body of the email? And how much did you tailor it to each firm? T1 Anon from above. I think the firms are only interviewing top candidates at top schools. I know of some top 10%ers from my school who are getting interviews. How soon is it okay to send a follow up email after a CB for pre-oci CBs?

Brothers,
Is the usual protocol for MM that you won't hear back at all until (or unless) you are selected to interview? Sent a few MM this week and didn't even get a 'thank you for your application' or anything. Normal?
