I don't understand are we supposed to mass mail to firms that will be at our OCI? won't the firm think it's weird that we're not going through the proper channels, like we're trying to game the bid system by applying early?

Re: 2L Summer Job Search Timeline
Firms aren't really thinking about "the system" (which likely varies between almost all of the schools a given firm is interviewing at), they're just concerned with filling their summer class with students that they think are competent and will fill the firm's hiring needs as 3Ls. An early CB/offer means that they can start running the clock on an offer from the first day of OCI, which means they can start to finalize their summer class that much earlier.supersplittysplitter wrote:I don't understand are we supposed to mass mail to firms that will be at our OCI? won't the firm think it's weird that we're not going through the proper channels, like we're trying to game the bid system by applying early?
