BLG announcements are tomorrow, so should be a lot of movement on the alternate lists early this week.

You are receiving this message to update you on the timeline of the BLG job fair. Your resume and law school transcript have been received by employers; they are currently in the process of reviewing candidates. There was a slight delay in Symplicity's processing of these documents, so employers now have until July 21 to pre-select students. As a result of this, students' schedules will now be available on July 26 instead of July 25.

BLG email:

Dear Students,

Thank you for your registering for the 2016 Boston Lawyers Group Job Fair. Unfortunately, you have not been selected to participate in the 2016 BLG Job Fair. Please note that out of over 200 job fair applicants, less than half were chosen by the employers to interview at the BLG Job Fair. As the facilitators of the job fair, we are not responsible for selecting students for the interviews. The employers receive all students' resume and transcript packets and select those students who meet their hiring criteria needs. There will be no re-registration on the day of the job fair.

Many students were not invited to participate in this year's job fair and we encourage those students to stay the course by continuing to network and participate in BLG programs. Even though we were unable to provide a job interview for all students, please be reminded that the BLG remains committed to the recruitment, retention and advancement of attorneys of color in Boston's greater legal community.

Also, please stay in touch with our website as we receive job opportunities from time to time to support our members' commitment to diversity in Boston's greater legal community. You may contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

Thank you again for your interest in the Boston Lawyers Group, and I wish you the best of luck in your OCI process.

I don't think that's a thing. You can only move to interview if you're an alternate.

BLG interview offers out. Not sure about anyone else, but I had no crossover with BLG and school OCI.

I'd be surprised if anyone here wasn't an alternate. Everyone I've talked to has had at least 1.

+1

If my alternate amount was my interview amount, my life would be much more relaxed rn.

Just wondering, is our current BLG schedule complete, or are there still some firms that are delayed?
