I'm a rising 2L at NYU and I'm looking for some OCI advice. Had slightly above 3.1. Not a very good situation, I know.
Worked for 2 years as a paralegal and can count on very good letters of rec (if those count for anything). Female URM.
I'm pretty concerned about not being able to get an offer from OCI due to my shitty grades. I sent my bid list to career services for them to critique, but I have heard mixed reviews of how helpful their feedback is since they have so many lists to review.

Re: NYU Bid List Help -- 3.1 GPA
Using our EIW 2016 2L Employers - Slot Breakdown list, I looked up every firm in the Chambers USA guide, identifying those firms that were "banded" in my practice areas of interest. I thereby managed to draw up a bidlist with 47 firms (35 NY; 12 DC)--18 <3.4s; 12 3.4+s; 17 3.6+s--sorted by GPA tier and preference within GPA tier. I'm letting my counselor sort it out.
Irene's DC webinar is very helpful, if you haven't already watched it.
Are you actually asking what's the likelihood of an NYU Law student with a 3.07 walking away from OCI empty-handed?
(Gimme pizza, you old troll.)
