to answer your question
2 at DA because at least then you have substantive experience doing something and make more meaningful connections

Based on OP's first post ever on this site, he already is an ada and is looking for exit options.Borhas wrote:this the 3rd iteration of your "should i take this DA job" threadpoweradezero wrote:Which is better? What would u do and why?

Which one's more prestigious?????

Honestly though, after a review of this poster's history, I'm worried if this guy/girl is representing clients.

Wouldnt working both sides make it more diverse experience?

I guess it would. So would going out, committing a crime, and going through the criminal process as a criminal defendant...that would surely give you a diverse experience, but that doesn't mean it's a good way to further your career. It scares me to think that you currently pursue justice for the victims of crimes.poweradezero wrote:Wouldnt working both sides make it more diverse experience?

you gain some diversity but lose depthpoweradezero wrote:Wouldnt working both sides make it more diverse experience?
By 1.5 years you would probably start doing felonies in a lot of jurisdictions, but if you you do one year at a PD and one year at a DA then you'll probably just do misdos at both places.

What PD office would hire you, a (then) former ADA with 1 year of experience, blinded by some mystique of undefined "prestige".
