Recent T14 grad- jobless and not sure what to do

Post by Anonymous User » Wed May 25, 2016 7:41 pm

Just graduated.
I'm taking the California bar exam (didn't go to a CA school).
I'm not really sure what I should be doing. I've been hustling during school (OCI, 3L OCI) and nothing panned out, though I did have a decent 2L internship.

What should I be doing now?

Should I be mass mailing again? Now or after the bar? If so, mass mail biglaw or mid/smaller firms? Even the ones I got rejected at?
Most of my school Simplicity postings are for either the local area or NY, and not for CA. How do I find postings for CA jobs?

At this point I'm open to both public interest and private sector, but have no idea where/when to look.

You should all apply to possible jobs now and until you have a job. Are you in a non LA/SF market? If so, you actually should not have much difficulty finding a position. T14 grads are a hot commodity to many, if not all, midsized and smaller firms.

I'm in LA/SF but limited to that area.

Thanks. I'll be applying now
