W4 Allowances?

So how many should I claim? BigLaw summer associate. Single, no kids. Don't anticipate any other income this year

Single 0 (you may even get a refund this way) or Single 1. These are the safest for you to ensure you don't have a significant tax bill due when you file next year.

This is ensuring a huge interest-free loan to the treasury.

Like others have said, run your stuff through the IRS calculator. It got me within $43 of being correct last year.

just do like 50 so you get to keep all your money. no one gives a shit. I got a 100% full refund both years I summered at diff sets of firms in diff situations

I was usually around 30 as a single biglaw SA for 12 weeks. Just use whatever the withholding calculator gives you. OP, please ignore the above quote.
