get a very high LSAT score and go to a great school for free or nearly free and you can make some money.

Now granted I'm not sure how the OP seeks to evaluate what a "top 20 undergrad" would be--I'm guessing something like this or this based on his or her worldview. But it probably isn't a shitty school.

Do you want to be a lawyer? If yes, consider law school. If not, you have better options from a monetary maximization pov.
