A few years back I lurked on the boards and found these types of threads occasionally informative.
If you're looking for info about how offices in NYC/CHI/LA/MIA operate - I won't be able to help you. I live in an area with a few hundred thousand people. Fairly high per capita crime rate, but the murders number in the 10's not the 100's (and I don't handle murder cases so I wouldn't be much help on those anyway). But if you have questions about the job (from a mid-level prosecutor's perspective), I'm happy to answer if I have anything to contribute.
