also wondering, the verbal reasoning part seems to be less precise than the lsat judging from the practice.

Gonna rip through it after finals. I think we'll be the first round to take it (first year of implementation along with JD-APDs being on earliest cycle). I guess I'll just prep using old Mck written test materials. Lemme know if anyone hears anything.

From friends at McKinsey, idk if you need a strategy. If you're bad at math, practice math to be quick. If you're bad at verbal, not sure. I feel like that's kind of "you have it or you don't". Probably not gonna do much prep, but might practice some quant stuff. Also, be weary of time considerations (but you're in law school so you should know how to take an exam).

Take all this with a grain of salt though. I'm not a huge test strategy guy, especially considering this is a new format with less reliable historical info.

I think I'm taking this after finals. No need to get hopes up. Anyone ask about the timeline of the process? It seems they want to get offers out at the same time or before fulltime Biglaw offers go out.

I just took the practice verbal. Does anyone know how this test defines "most" and "some"? Because if "most" means more than half but not all (i.e., NOT the LSAT definition), then some of my answers will be wrong... And I wasn't able to see which answers I got right and which I got wrong.

Any tips before I take this? Didn't really practice. Which tests do you get tested on? Just verbal and numerical reasoning?

I don't think practicing helps. The only thing you need to do is take the practice exams so you're not blindsided by the time limit. Also have a good calculator; your phone might not cut it
