Stupid Question.
As a 1L is it typical to be brought in to meet a partner and go to lunch with some associates when 1) their SA is definitely filled and 2) its april....whats my takeaway here

Not typical. But treat it as an interview. You may have landed a new job for *summer.

Agreed, not very typical for 1L. You should keep contact with the partner and associates you meet over the summer and see if it leads to interview/callback before OCI even starts for your school. I think NALP data shows that people were getting more offers before OCI than in previous years and firms were contacting people earlier than OCI.RaceJudicata wrote:Not typical.
